Since Monday wheat quotations have started falling in Europe and the USA, whereas on Tuesday this could already be called a collapse. At Chicago exchange wheat has dropped to below 300 dollars per ton or by 4.2 percent, and at Parisian exchange it has decreased by 1.8 percent. At London exchange wheat has dropped by 0.1 percent.
On December 11 at Chicago exchange wheat quotations have dropped by 35.75 cents or by 4.2 percent to 297.7 dollars per ton. At London exchange January futures have dropped by 221.5 pounds sterling per ton or by 355.2 dollars per ton (minus 0.1 percent). At Parisian exchange January futures have dropped by 1.8 percent to 338.7 dollars per ton, and March futures have dropped by 1.8 percent to 338.4 dollars per ton.
On December 11 at Kazakhstani exchange wheat quotations have remained unchanged, and their latest drop has been fixed on December 4 to the point of 269 dollars per 3rd grade wheat.
Wheat quotations during the period of November 30 – December 7 have slightly changed at European and American exchanges. At Chicago exchange wheat has dropped by 0.3 percent, and has increased by 0.6 percent at London exchange.
