February pork futures are traded at the minimal point of last month, namely at 83.9. According to the Analytics Team of Commodity Trading Department, such situation has resulted from data on higher young pig slaughter and, consequently, higher meat production. Besides, smaller demand, in comparison to the holiday time, has also influenced the price for pork.
