Asian-Pacific stock indices are trading in the red zone today. One of the reasons is the fact that Standard & Poor's, a major rating agency, has cut Spain ’s credit rating. Another reason is poor stats on industrial orders. Moreover, the forecast for the South Korean economy may be downgraded.
· MSCI Asia Pacific: -0,2%.
· Nikkei 225: - 0,6%.
· Kospi: - 0,8%.
· Shanghai Composite: - 0,3%.
· Hang Seng: is the only index that has managed to recover from the decline. It is up by 0,2%.
The stock of Toyota Motor Corp. keeps depreciating. This time it is down by 1.7%. The major reason for the decline is the company’s decision to call back over 7 million cars to eliminate a defect.
HTC Corp has recently seen its stock depreciating by 7% on poor quarterly stats.
