Dutch yield of sugar beet is under threat. Agricultural field of the culture have turned yellow. This is the sign of a serious disease. Experts have not yet defined the reason of such yellow leaf blight. This may be a fungus disease because of high water concentration in soil. However, a detailed official version will be announced next week.
This summer Holland has been watered with rains. The level of precipitations has exceeded 27 of the norm. The Netherlands occupy the fifth position worldwide in terms of sugar beet production.
