In 2013 Canada is planning to expand its crop area for soy. Crop will be increased in Manitoba province, where seeds are produced. This year soy crop has been rather high – 850 000 acres.
Interest to the culture remains, so there are no reasons to reduce its crop. Experts predict that soy and wheat will be most popular cultures in new marketing year. Harvesting has already started in Red River valley. Results will be positive and will keep rising depending on the area, which is characterized by precipitations.
Exchange price for the oil-bearing culture keeps rising, which provides a good opportunity for earning. It is evident that farmers will show high interest to the culture in new season. Next year the crop area of the culture may be expanded to 1 mln. acres.
