Last year Germany’s export reached 1 trillion euro for the first time in history. The balance-of-trade surplus reached 158B euro in 2011. That was a 11% increase. The country’s import gained 13.2%, thus reaching $902B.
A year before, in 2010, Germany’s balance-of-trade surplus was equal to 155B. its export outside the EU reached 432.8B euro.
In the meantime, according to the Department of Commodity Trading, , the 6E futures contract (EURUSD) has recently made a new high. Judging by the trading volume, a test of 1.3300 is highly probable. A break and consolidation above it will give way to 1.3350. Otherwise, the price may test 1.3250.
