Western media keep making noise over the fact that UMD Passport for PC Vita supports very few games. Another factor keeps disappointing Western gamers and escalating the situation: most games for PS Vita are still in Japanese. The users of the new handheld console are concerned about the absence of such hits as Monster Hunter and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The Japanese PSP store counts 606 games. However only 262 of them are rated as “Vita-compatible”. Probably, this is a temporary problem. The developers will probably do their best to make up for the game shortage. It should be noted that UMD Passport is the program made to transfer their favorite games from PSP-UMD to PS Vita. The program is not free, which disappoints some gamers. It is unclear whether the mentioned drawback will affect the global sales of the new console. However, it is clear than in Asia PS Vita will be a great success even despite the game shortage. Tips for investors: PlayStation Vita (PSV) is a handheld game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment and is a successor to PlayStation Portable. The new console was announced on Jan 27th 2011 together with PlayStation Suite at PlayStation Meeting 2011. According to the Department of Portfolio Investments, , Sony Corp.’s stock is in deep downtrend. There are no fundamental or technical signs of recovery. It is currently recommended to abstain from trading the asset.
