All good things have a quality of coming to an end sooner or later. Similarly, the Second Academic Contest of Traders organized by the Masterforex-V Academy and ICM Brokers is over.
Here are they, the WINNERS! Meet them!
First place - gfif
Second place - neri
Third place - Goddess
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Interestingly, based on interim results analyzed halfway through the contest, prize winners weren't even in Top Ten. What does this mean?
Firstly, this is like sports - you got to fight till the end.
Secondly, and unlike in sports, you can lead the way almost to the finish line and lose everything on your last losing trades.
This proves once again that trading is a very special area of activity. Everything depends here on things other than muscles or even brains. Your success in contests and steady day-to-day operations are based on how prepared you are psychologically.
Some more food for thought: 584 participants joined the race and only 35 of them hit the finish line. What's up? A natural result of natural selection? Or most of the contestants didn't treat the contest seriously enough? Maybe, they don't treat trading serious enough, altogether? Mikhail Zhvanetskiy, a famous humorous author and speaker, used to say: "You got to be more thorough, guys. Now you got the hang of the general picture, it's high time you mastered the details..." We're no office staff that will get nothing in the worst of scenarios. In the market we can lose everything, which happens regularly, all the time (95% traders nod their consent).
This is why it is crucial to analyze one's results and learn one's lessons. Otherwise, any trade (within or outside the contest) is only a profit or loss. Analysis of your results adds some experience which, in turn, adds profits and reduces losses. This is what we're here in for, after all.
The organizing committee of the Second Academic Contest also analyzes results and makes conclusions. The results of this effort will lay the foundation for terms and conditions of the next, Third Academic Contest. But this is the subject of a different article.
The , ICM Brokers, Market Leader heartily and sincerely congratulate the winners on their truly deserved victory!
