The Greek police had to use tear gas after the demonstrators surrounded the Greek House of Parliament and started disorders while protesting against the recently introduced austerity package including salary cuts and tax hikes. Over 20000 people participated in the demonstration. Greece’s 2 biggest labor unions called a strike.
The Prime Minister George Papandreou is currently facing the growing confrontation inside his socialist party over his austerity program needed to get financial aid form the EU. One of his fellow-members has already left the party in protest.

The common currency is under pressure. According to the Department of Masterforex-V trading system , there is a bearish FZR H4 currently forming wave a(C ) or C of H4 - the continuation of the downtrend. The first and second targets - 1,4245 and 1,4100 - will become the next level of support. An uptrend can be considered only when the price break above the MF pivot and sloping channel (as shown in the picture below):
