According to Olli Rehn, European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, the EU authorities are working on new ways to help Greece overcome the financial crisis. An international group of experts (including the representatives of the ECB and the IMF) has already started inspecting the measures taken by the Greek governments to reduce the sovereign debt. Mr. Rehn says that within a few weeks the EU experts will develop new ways to come out of the crisis.
It should be noted that the situation in Greece remains difficult despite all the steps taken by the government. The country may face bankruptcy.
