European stock indexes have unexpectedly grown in the course of yesterday’s trading session. Positive market trend has been caused by strong financial statistical data, provided by a number of largest companies for the third quarter of current year.
Independent index of largest European enterprises Stoxx Europe 600 has increased by 0.85 percent, having amounted to 271.76 points. This has been the maximal increase for the last two weeks, thus during October the index has increased by 1.2 percent.
15 out of 18 major indexes of Western Europe have considerably increased in the course of yesterday’s trading session.
The index of largest European enterprises Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 has increased by 1.50 percent, to 2515.99 points. British index FTSE 100 has amounted to 5849.90 points, having risen by 0.95 percent. French index CAC 40 has increased by 1.48 percent, having amounted to 3459.44 points. German index DAX has increased by 1.13 percent, having amounted to 7284.40 points.
In the course of yesterday’s trading session the shares of British BP Plc has increased by 4.2 percent, which has become the 4-month record. Capitalization of UBS AG, largest Swiss banks, has increased by 5.9 percent. The «Market Leader» has informed that the bank is going to have a shortage of 10 ths. jobs.
