Apple is said to be getting ready to release an exclusive series of Apple Watch made of gold, Market Leader reports. Apparently, the gadget is going to cost a fortune. Still, the High-Tech Department of Masterforex-V Academy reports that the golden variant of Apple Watch is going to cost 10 times as much as an ounce of gold. Even experts were shocked by the announced price, not to mention the fans of Apple devices.
The minimal retail price of the new device is expected to be $10 000. In particular, the UK retailers that are going to sell the golden implementation of Apple Watch name 8000 pounds per device as the minimal expected price. There is even an improved version of the golden Apple Watch which is reported to cost $17 000 or more.
The spot price of a troy ounce of gold is $1160. Apple used 55 grams of gold to make a copy of Apple Watch, which costs $1500. In other words, the device is way costlier than it should be.
At this point, it seems like Apple challenges Swiss companies making elite watches. Still, some experts believe that the new device by Apple may well be considered to be out of the sector of elite watches.
At the same time, the supporters of Apple assume that the new watches by Apple are going to change the way people communicate online, which what they absolutely love. This is expected to back the future success of Apple Watch.
