Hello traders, you're watching the Dukascopy Economic Calendar for Monday, the 13th of February.
The schedule actually starts on Sunday, as the closely watched preliminary fourth quarter Japanese GDP is out at 11:50 PM. The third quarter data came in stronger than expected, following a point 2% gain the previous quarter.
New Zealand Food Price Index for January comes at 9:45 PM on Monday. The Index has been declining for the past 4 months.
National Australia Bank Business Confidence for January follows at half past midnight. The Index stood unchanged in December, but the report was cautious about its longer-term prospects.
Two high importance news releases regarding the Chinese economy in January are released at 1:30 AM, and Consumer Price Index is one of them. The annual inflation eased in December from the 8-month high reached in November.
Producer Price Index, on the other hand, posted a strong growth in December, steadily recovering from its 5-year decline.
And the final reading of Japanese Industrial Production for December is out at 4:30. The initial estimate suggests the output has continued to grow, but at a slower pace than the 1.5% gain the previous month.
