Swiss UBS Consumption Indicator for December is up first at 7 AM. The Index did see some improvement in November in light of increased domestic tourism and higher car sales.
The high importance German Ifo Business Climate Index for January follows at 9. The December data surprised on the upside as the Index reached its highest level in almost 3 years; trade, manufacturing and construction all contributed to the growth.
Coming up next at 2 PM GMT is the US House Price Index for November. House prices continued growing in October, but the increase was the smallest in 4 months.
New Zealand fourth quarter CPI is out at quarter to 10 in the evening, and it is a high importance release for the Kiwi Dollar traders. Consumer prices grew more than expected in the third quarter on the back of rising housing expenses.
