Stock exchange news. As of August 19, 2011, the volume of work gas in storages amounted to 2,906 bln. cub. feet, according to the estimation of Energy Information Administration (EIA). This is the net increase by 73 bln. cub. feet in relation to the previous week.
The stocks have amounted to 140 bln. cub. feet less than during the equal period last year and 55 bln. cub. feet less than the average 2,961 value during the 5-year period. In the western region the stocks have amounted to 112 bln. cub. feet less than during the 5-year period, following the net increase by 58 bln. cub. feet.
The stocks in industrial region are by 55 bln. cub. feet higher than the average 905 bln. cub. feet value during the 5-year period, following the net increase by 7 bln. cub. feet. The stocks in the western region are by 2 bln. cub. feet higher than the average value during the 5-year period, following the net increase by 8 bln. cub. feet.
The general gas stock, the volume of which is 2,906 bln. cub. feet, is within the 5-year historic range.
The price of natural gas remains within the range of 3.855 and 4.143.
According to the traders of Department of Derivatives Trading, gas prices will go up, taking into consideration the soon start of cold period and poor gas stock.
