According to Ted Malloch, a famous expert, and a professor at the Henley Business School of the University of Reading, England, the common European currency may well cease to exist in a matter of 18 months or so. By the way, Donald Trump wants to make him the U.S. ambassador to the EU.
Indeed, Mr. Malloch really believes that the common currency is in jeopardy, even though he hasn’t provided any arguments backing his standpoint. Still, he stresses the importance of the Brexit. Most probably, the United Kingdom is going to tighten the bilateral relations with the USA instead.
To be more specific, he expects the USA and the UK to sign a trade agreement within the next 3 months or so, which is going to satisfy both sides. At the same time, he is convinced that the best way for the United Kingdom is to implement the Brexit scenario in a tough way instead of a mild one. The point is, as soon as the UK quits the EU markets, the UK will be free to sign trade agreements with the USA and other nations without having to comply with the EU regulation.
