Photo: Eurozone Comes Out Of Recession
Yesterday, on August 14th, Eurostat published a report on the economic situation in the eurozone. The economy strengthened for the first time in 6 months. The growth reached 0,3% in Q2 in comparison with Q1. Germany has always been the major bullish driver in the eurozone. This time is not an exception. However, An increase in the French economy was a pleasant surprise. The economy gained 0.5% instead of 0.2% during the reporting period.
Still, Portugal was the biggest gainer with +1,1%, thereby leaving the list of outsiders. However, the economic performance show by Italy, Spain , Greece and Cyprus is still poor. Experts say that the eurozone economy may see further growth in Q3.
