There's no denial the fact that cryptocurrencies are getting more and more popular these days. Apparently, the need for cryptocurrency exchanges is growing with them. With that being said, international experts have tested dozens of cryptocurrency exchanges to come up with a rating.
According to Market Leader, the rating is compiled by CryptoCompare. All in all, they have test 164 cryptocurrency exchanges. It should be noted that this is not about rating such exchanges by turnover but rather by a number of criteria, with security and reliability playing one of the key roles.
To be more specific, when rating those exchanges, the experts took into account transparency security, customer feedback, monitoring efficiency, and so much more. Turnover wasn't taken into account when devising the rating. The thing is that the experts can see turnover manipulation, which is why this criterion cannot be taken into account by any means if we want a more or less unbiased standpoint.
So, the TOP3 looks like that:
1. Gemini (New York, offers BTC/ETH, BTC/USD и ETH/USD).
2. itBit (Newy York).
3. Coinbase (San Francisco).
The rest of the exchanges that belong to the TOP10:
4. Kraken (San Francisco, USA).
5. Bitstamp (Luxembourg).
6. Liquid (Japan).
7. OKEx (Hong Kong , a prototype of OKCoin).
8. Poloniex (Delaware, USA).
9. bitFlyer (Japan).
10. Bitfinex (Hong Kong ).
All in all, the experts are drawing our attention to relatively low degree of customer security. The thing is that only 4% of the clients are insured against hacker attacks and only 8% of the exchanges have introduced reliable security tools.
In the meantime, Bitcoin is recovering against the U.S. Dollar right now. It's currently trading around 8200 dollars per coin, Masterforex-V Academy reports.
