Yesterday’s trading session in the US stock market ended in the green zone. The leading US stock indexes showed some strength. Positive quarterly reports published by Us companies contributed to the rally. Another bullish factor was the ECB’s intension to stimulate the eurozone economy by all means. Angela Merkel backed the ECB’s decision to purchase the bonds emitted by risky eurozone economies.
J.P. Morgan Chase gained 1,9%, Morgan Stanley – 2,55%, Bank of America – 0,39%, Citigroup – 1,16 %. However, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer dropped by 0,8% and 2,15% correspondingly.
The situation for major indexes looked as follows: Dow Jones gained 0,39%, thus reaching 13168,60 pts, S&P 500 increased by 0,51% up to 1401,35 pts, Nasdaq strengthened by 0,87% up to 3015,86 pts.
According to the experts of , the Dow Jones futures started the trading day with a rally. It is still strengthening after breaking above 14438,91, and is nearing 14518,28.
A trend reversal will become possible as soon as the price overcomes the bottom of the MF sloping channel and consolidates below the MF pivot (as shown below):
